About

I'm Casey. Most of this site is about what I do for a living; this page is the rest of it. I was born at the Air Force Academy and raised as an Air Force kid, six states before I finished high school. Texas is where I stopped moving: twenty-five years in the San Antonio and Austin corridor, and it's still what I mean when I say home. Since 2025 I've lived in Bonney Lake, Washington with my two daughters, Alana and London, who I'm raising on my own. They are the reason for most of my best decisions and all of my early mornings.

WHAT I'M ABOUT

Outside of work you'll find me on a golf course playing better than my scorecard suggests, on a softball field, or on a trail somewhere in the Cascades, which is the part of moving to the Pacific Northwest that never gets old. I run a smoker the way some people run a religion, Texas rules: brisket, no shortcuts. And I'll take almost any excuse to be in a crowd at a ballgame or a concert.

THE PATH

I grew up on Air Force bases: Colorado, Arizona, Alabama, North Dakota, Virginia, and finally Texas, where I stayed. Moving that often as a kid teaches you to read a room fast and build from scratch without flinching, which turned out to be decent training for a career in presales. I studied computer information systems at Texas State, spent twelve years at the Department of Veterans Affairs learning infrastructure the hard way, from firewalls to enterprise architecture, and picked up a master's in information management from Arizona State along the way. In 2015 I crossed to the vendor side. In 2025 the girls and I traded Texas heat for Washington rain, and we got the better end of that deal.
